The two squads fought to a 37-37 first-half tie, but Nevada turned on the jets in the second half.
The Wolf Pack opened up the second stanza with a 10-0 run, capped by a pair of Kyle Shiloh free throws, to establish a double-digit edge.
Louisiana Tech climbed within six moments later after Jerome Richardson went 1-of-2 from the stripe, but Nevada promptly ripped off the next five points to again make it a comfortable lead with about 15 minutes remaining.
The home team opened it up from there, as Lyndale Burleson banged home a three with 10:59 on the clock to make it 60-45.
The Wolf Pack cruised the rest of the way.
