NCAA Basketball Betting Lines

01/26/2007 - Reno, NV (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Ramon Sessions dropped in 21 points on 8-of-12 shooting to guide No. 18 Nevada past Louisiana Tech, 84-67, at Lawlor Events Center.

Sessions also had seven rebounds and six assists while Nick Fazekas scored 13 for the Wolf Pack (18-2, 6-1 WAC), who were coming off a loss to New Mexico State.

Marcellus Kemp added 12 points in the win.

Chad McKenzie netted a team-best 19 points but was just 5-of-15 from the floor for Louisiana Tech (6-13, 4-3), which dropped to 2-8 on the road. Trey McDowell finished with 17 points and Harry Disy had 11.

The two squads fought to a 37-37 first-half tie, but Nevada turned on the jets in the second half.

The Wolf Pack opened up the second stanza with a 10-0 run, capped by a pair of Kyle Shiloh free throws, to establish a double-digit edge.

Louisiana Tech climbed within six moments later after Jerome Richardson went 1-of-2 from the stripe, but Nevada promptly ripped off the next five points to again make it a comfortable lead with about 15 minutes remaining.

The home team opened it up from there, as Lyndale Burleson banged home a three with 10:59 on the clock to make it 60-45.

The Wolf Pack cruised the rest of the way.
